Carol A. James, Portfolio Administrator
Carol A. James was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland.
She attended the University of Maryland studying Business Education.
Carol worked in an administrative capacity at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, for ten years. After moving to the New Hampshire Seacoast, she was employed as an executive secretary at a local corporate headquarters. Carol worked for an insurance agency part-time while raising her family, along with having a custom drapery business. She joined Mackensen & Company in January, 2000.
As our Portfolio Administrator, Carol works closely with our clients. She assists with opening accounts and executing transfers. She provides clients with current money balance information, portfolio valuations and handles requests for cash disbursements. Carol is responsible for daily reconciliation of all accounts and prepares the billings.
Carol is also a notary public and assists clients when they need notary services.
She lives in Hampton, NH, with her husband.
